Winners Pizza

What a pleasure. I’m from Oxnard, but I came to TO to visit my mom. She was craving pizza, and my lazy ass didn’t want to drive that far. This place, only being a couple hundred feet away, was my first choice. But now it’s worth driving from Oxnard.

I always get the panzerottis from here on uber eats. They have them 2 for 1 on there, Wich is a crazy deal, and they always come fresh and warm even through delivery. One of the only places in the city that still does classic fried panzos. They are humungous and taste amazing.

'm sure the locals know about this little gem in Thousand Oaks. We discovered it because we were going to the theatre and we arrived early and parked. We decided to walk to grab some dinner and this pizza place is very close the the Civic center theatre plaza. I am a New Yorker and my father owned an Italian restaurant in Manhattan when I was a kid. With that in mind, this is some of the best Italian food I've had in years. We shared a salad and calzone. It was amazing. The calzone was suggested by the owner, sort of a cheese steak calzone. He asked us which ingredients we wanted and it was so delicous we talked about it all the way home after the show. The marinara dipping sauce was equally delicous. The salad was also great. Great food and very nice people that own the restaurant. I used to go every day after work when I lived in the area. Sam and Rob made me feel very welcome and I appreciated that a lot especially after a long day at work. They use quality ingredients in their food and go the extra mile to make sure it's good stuff. It's a much better experience to dine in than take out due to the atmosphere. Sit down, relax and have a cold beer. It's that kind of place.
