Winston Shower Door, Inc.

I have used Winston Shower Doors several times now. Pricey, but you do get what you pay for. Note that they were recently purchased by a larger concern. Prior to the purchase I had them at five stars, but after the purchase I dropped to four because the resulting scheduling/management aspect of the business seems to be less than optimum. Fortunately, they still have great installers, especially a fellow named Jim, a perfectionist sporting a great mustache.

Basco has inferior products that fail early in their lifespan. Do not spend thousands of dollars on something that looks pretty. Our 1/2 Basco Glass Shower enclosure failed early and is hanging precariously and looks like it is going to come crashing down. Winston Shower Door is ZERO help. They do not stand behind their products and will come up with every excuse under the sun to not honor their warranty.

My experience with this company could not have been better. I dealt with them online and by phone. They arrived at my house when they said they would, first to measure and then to install my shower door. The bill was exactly as quoted in the first phone call, and the door fits my odd-sized space perfectly and looks great.

I called ahead to make sure I could have someone helpful to speak with. They said, “just come on in!” Came in the same hour. Four blank stares when i walked in the door. No hello. Nobody who had any real information was available. One on vacation and one in a meeting. I wasted a bunch of time going over there to get absolutely nothing done.

I've dealt with Winston Shower for years now and while their drivers are great and friendly the experience is 100% absolutely terrible for over a year now I cant say that one job we have done as a small glass company has been correct matter of fact just opened up a hardware kit to be installed the box is marked with the correct metal color inside everything is incorrect and of course we contact them to fix the issue and again the response is we are sorry and these issues are being addressed well when is it being addressed cause nothing has changed in the slightest if I could a zero star rating they would get it in closing GET YOURSELVES TOGETHER
