Took my parents and kid here to enjoy the Maryland crabs on our way home back to Virginia. We loved this place! The crabs were incredible and very reasonably priced. The corns are a plus! Our waitress was the best—she gave us a great tutorial on what not to eat of a crab. My little one had a great time banging the crab claws using the wood hammer. Wish this restaurant were closer to our home.

Craving Maryland blue crabs, I decided to try Winters Run Inn on Philadelphia Rd. I called ahead and ordered two dozen large male crabs. Barb, who answered the phone, was incredibly friendly and even suggested adding corn on the cob, which turned out to be some of the best I've ever had. When I arrived, my order was waiting for me. Picking up is easy - just head into the bar, pay, and your order is brought out to you. Both Barb and the young man who brought out my crabs were super friendly. The crabs themselves were delicious - meaty and well seasoned; however, the meat in some of the crabs were a little dry. All in all, a great experience and will revisit for crabs and corn.

The staff was super friendly, and knowledgeable about all menu items. They were patient and kind explaining to my husband and me items that we had questions about. The food was fresh, really well seasoned and very tasty. Overall the experience was great. We got soft shell crab sandwiches and beef steaks. Would highly recommend.

Great place to have a blue crab. Warm and nice atmosphere. Too salty taste may have pros and cons.
