Wister's Barbecue

Overall pretty good. Ordered the Fat Mac Sampler. Brisket is nice and tender. Sausage was Jalapeno and cheddar. Didn't want Jalapeno and does say that on the menu?? Wings were ok but need more flavor/seasoning. Ribs were good.

Wister’s Barbecue was a super yummy Sunday dinner. We got a 1/2 lb brisket with fries, a home wrecker brisket sandwich, and a salad with brisket (can you tell we like brisket?). The meat was super juicy and flavorful. It was tender enough to pull apart with just your fork and I got some great pieces. Compared to some other bbq places like this, I thought this place was way more tender and i liked that there wasn’t too much fat on the meat. The fries were awesome. They were crispy and hot. The salad was very fresh and was a great portion, and we really enjoyed the sandwich. Originally, we had wanted to order the Nashville Hot Sandwich, which has chicken, but they had run out of some element of the dish. It’s been sold out online every time I go on their website. I hate to admit I’ve lived local for years but have never came to Wisters until now But damn it was good !!! Picked up @645p on Saturday night….. Ribs were very good, but a tad dry….. get sauce on the side…. Dry rub wings taste great but are dry. Brisket was a little dry as well. The Bacon Mac & cheese was incredible. Cornbread was pretty damn dry although the honey butter was very tasty but didn’t cover the dryness of the bread, sorry!! …. I’m not one to complain about meals but cook for a few minutes less please because it’ll be perfect. Sauces are great. Buffalo is something else 🔥🔥. All in all very nice transaction- online ordering was quick and easy and staff was super friendly.

Best BBQ around, as good or even better than Jesse's. Got the ribs, mac and baked beans and am counting down the days until i can go back! Quick service and everything we got was 10 out of 10 good. A little on the pricey side, but worth it.

Best pulled pork sandwich I’ve ever had and it had more meat on it then I’ve ever seen. Ribs were very tender and fall off the bone! I tried the burger and it’s not my favorite. Clean and friendly atmosphere guys working in the back seem like good dudes! Much appreciated will definitely be back!
