Customer Reviews
Bagels are pretty good. Breakfast sandwiches are pretty mid, assuming they get it right. Third time in a row I did not receive what I ordered. Today, one sandwich doesnt have cheese and the other has the wrong meat entirely. Last visit for me.
Bagels went downhill very fast. Someone said maybe because of New ownership? Look at my photos of the misshapen bagels. They used to be so fluffy and airy and deliciously chewy. Now they are doughy and taste terrible.
Disgusting and never again. The service and assuming male manager were absolutely rude at 10am on a Sunday morning. The bagels were uncooked and lacked any time of flavor. So many other good choices in Bayonne I will never spend my money here again. Broadway Bagel 100000% better.
After living all this time in JC, I can't believe I didn't try Wonder Bagels til now. I've been missing out. The lines are quite long weekend mornings. I went two times around 10:30am and waited an average of 20 min, but the wait is worth it. The bagels are very fresh and soft but still retains a crispy outer edge. You can actually see them churn out the bagels fresh in the back as fast as people are buying them. Their bagel machines look pretty awesome. They offer the following kinds of bagels: pumpernickel, oat bran, salt, cinnamon raisin, whole wheat, poppy, sesame, everything, plain, egg, sun-dried tomato, onion, and garlic. I have tried their cinnamon raisin, sun-dried tomato, and egg bagel. The cinnamon raisin is pretty stand, but it could use more raisins. I loved the sun-dried to
Decided to get breakfast in NJ instead of Staten Island since we were in the area. Unfortunately, for my own experience, the food lacked flavor, orders were wrong and overall bad experience. Don’t get me wrong this bagel spot does have potential to be great.
