Customer Reviews
Tried this new Cantonese restaurant today and it was amazing! The food tastes just like my hometown. The veggies were super fresh, the curry fish balls were flavorful and bouncy, and the claypot rice was perfect with fragrant rice and crispy bits at the bottom. Everything was fresh and well seasoned. Definitely coming back! 👍✨
I noticed this new restaurant after returning to San Leandro after a bit. I decided to walk in and give it a try since it looked like a hong kong cafe. I ordered just a rice stone pot and hong kong milk tea, but was given soup which tasted just like the one my grandpa would make for me, sweetened walnuts, and a freshly made pineapple bun. The pineapple bun had butter added to the inside and tasted wonderful, it seemed to just melt in your mouth. The stone pot itself arrived after 20 minutes, and the beef was delicious, the rice was cooked perfectly, and was large enough for me to take it to go. I would highly recommend checking this place out as the owners and waitresses are super friendly, the food is really good, and the ambience wasn't too distracting or loud.
This is a pretty good Hong Kong style restaurant. The butter french toast was soo good. The baked rice took a while to prep but was delicious.
I walked in here unexpectedly and was quite surprised by the hospitality. The waiters are super sweet and the food and soup is authentic to China’s southern cuisine, reminding me a lot of my mom’s cooking. When I asked about the manager, they have two managers from China and Taiwan. They also make their own pineapple buns in-house! The portions are definitely filling. We ordered one salted fish claypot and was told that I could mix two different proteins into it, so we added braised beef into it.
Staffs were nice. I’ve tried fried flat noodles with beef and satay beef noodles in the pot. It was yummy. But lemon tea was too light for me. I would like richer taste of tea.
