Wood's Ribs & Fish

1/3/23: Found a metal something in my greens. See picture. I’ve tried so many times over the years to overlook some things woods does but I live over an hour from here. So I come hungry hoping to get good soul food. They raised there prices… I get that but now metal in my food. They’ve lost my business this time. Update: 2022 Mac and cheese is watery and tastes like can cheese and the greens recipe has changed as well. I have had the rib tips twice lately and they have been awful. Fish is still on point. No longer consistent and that’s kind of disappointing. I’ll still come here when I come to town. Original post: Consistency. I don’t live here but come back to flint at least once a month and I eat here or get Mexican. It’s always good and you get a lot of food for $12

Tasty food. Portions are not as large as I've been told. Ordered catfish dinner, 2 sides. Apx 6-7 half quarters pieces of fillet catfish. Small portion of sweet potatoes and green beans (they were out of collards). Wait wasn't long. Food was tasty.

I got the catfish dinner. It filled me up. It was cooked perfectly.. my sides were the fried and Mac n cheese. Fries were good. Just wish I had asked for salt and pepper for the Mac n cheese. Other than that it was really good. I do feel bad.. I usually like to tip.. used my debit card and thought I might get a prompt to tip and it didn't. Next time I promise I will double my tip because you have deserved it. We work out of Lansing and have jobs in Flint occasionally . Also came out quickly for it being noon.

Place may look like a whole in a wall but the food is absolutely DELICIOUS!!!! I have to come here every time im in flint. Their rib tips are sooo good and their greens. Also love the oeach cobbler. Definitely recommend

Last timre i got a bunch of bones for rib tips with little meat,this Tuesday went to get rib tips dinners the meat on the end of the rib couldn't chew it ,the tips some look like strips, if you say rib tips then that's what i expect,not end of rib i cant chew and my other quest wasn't pleased with there dinner either coleslaw is not good at all coleslaw was horrible and nasty,upgraded to some better coleslaw please, i was just upset with my dinner didn't eat it all i been going to support woods for year but if my rib tips gone look like that am going to have to find me another bar be que place,hardly no sauce on meat,do better cooks, with the rib tips please,shrimps need to be ate before they get cold cause if not all your shrimp breading coming off need to be cooked a little bit more a
