Second time stopping here. We stopped here mainly because of a review on the app bring Fido. I had the chopped brisket sandwich with Cajun fries. Good size sandwich and ample portion of fries. My wife had the pulled pork with Mac and cheese. Good also. Our dogs were able to relax on the outdoor patio. Dog friendly.
The burnt ends appetizer it was delicious! As well as the pulled pork! The food and customer service overall was excellent! My family & I will be back!
I recently visited the Woodstack Restaurant at 4038 N Valdosta Rd, in Valdosta, GA. My son, daughter in law, and myself went to one of the first reopening days for this restaurant in January. The place was filled and the atmosphere was good. Our server got to our table timely and got our drink and food orders going. We shared our food and even got dessert. A real nice looking bar too.
First visit while passing through for work. I eat a lot of BBQ, so my standards are high in this category. Good decent BBQ, packed parking lot states how good this place is. Pork Rinds were great as an appetizer. Pulled pork was good, St. Louis ribs were okay, not fall apart. Great job on the sides namely the collards and whole fried okra. Mac and Cheese was good, whatever cheese they put in it had a different taste than what I’m used too and I really enjoyed it. Sauces were good, I enjoyed the sweat and spicy. This place sells Shiner beer which is always a plus, service was so nice from the waitresses
We were passing along Valdosta, needed to stop & have lunch. Found this place on Yelp. We were not disappointed! Great service- staff were so friendly! We had the chopped brisket dip - loads of meat on the bun with melted cheese & mushrooms, the side chosen was baked bean. Brisket was so tender & flavourful, baked beans had chunks of meat, sweet but not overly sweet. 1/2 baked chicken with 2 sides - that was the juiciest chicken with great smoked flavour in it. Sides were fried whole okra, the batter coating was very good, with a touch of coarse salt on it, crunchy on the outside, not slimy at all. The beast sandwich was very good too, ordered a loaded tater totes with pulled pork Brunswick stew was intriguing, do we ordered a large bowl, it was loaded with Lima beans & pulled pork & chick
