Woody's Roadside Gulfport

Great food and great service from Camille. My wife had the creole shrimp appetizer and I had the sliders with onion straws. Everything came out quickly and was delicious! Great place to watch football while eating good food. The price was reasonable for the portions.

We ate here following the comedy show Friday night. It was a little busy. We were seated quickly. Trish was our server and seemed to be working 2 sides. She was great and recommended dishes that ended up being very tasty as well. The price was reasonable and food came out really fast. We tried the surf and turf pasta which well-seasoned and you did not have to look to find the meat and seafood like some restaurants. My husband said his bison burger was pretty good. He subbed the fries for onion rings. There was an upcharge but it wasn't very many maybe 5 or 6. So he was a bit disappointed with that. For an appetizer we tried the cheese bombs. I love the Woody's in Gulfport. I like that they have different specials during the week, but I especially like their burgers, shrimp and fried fish. I went there to indulge in one of their specials, but they were sold out of 2 of the ones I really wanted. I would recommend that when they no longer have specials, that they remove it from thier advertising as well as update the lunch to dinner pricing on thier advertising. For the special I did have, it was the chicken and broccoli pasta. It personally was not my favorite, for the chicken was overcooked and the sauce was not what I had expected. Overall they have plenty of options to choose from on their menu.

The Seafood Nachos were absolutely delish! The Shrimp Po Boy (blackened) was abundant with shrimp to share if you dare, and the opened faced Gravy Burger (with a slice of Swiss...YES PLEASE!) was a perfectly seasoned and cookedfresh beef patty, topped with mushroom gravy...SO YUM! Would definitely recommend and will most definitely visit again! Service was also excellent and perfectly timed! 👏👏👏

We stopped in for a late lunch after googling best lunch spots in Gulfport, MS and Woody’s Roadside came up. It did not disappoint! The boys each ordered off of the kids’ menu which was very reasonably priced and came with a drink, side, and cookies. Both boys ate all of their food so that is a win right there for any mom. My husband and I shared the seafood nachos. Wow! It’s like a flavor bomb went off in my mouth. It was so good! The portion size was so big - we couldn’t even finish it (as hard as I tried lol). The service is super friendly and it’s a very family friendly environment. We would definitely come back to try more things off of the menu.
