Some people hate on here but lowkey u just need to be creative with the options to make a good dinner. But yeah it can be hit or miss and not always that good. Noodle station usually doesn’t let me down tho. I got super sick from eating the blush sauce on the pasta once though. PSA maybe don’t put cake into the waffle machine I totally burned stud on there sorry guys. Pro tip put some waffle batter then the cake crumbled up then some more batter it’s SO BUSSS. Also a good prank is when they serve shrimp or crawfish, find a table where people got up to get more food and put one on their plate lmaoooo. Okay bye
I'm writing this as a survival guide to Deka also known as Morgan, and Pulse on Dining(never used name). During the week the hours will appear as if they are open all the time but they only serve "main dishes" during two hour long breakfast, lunch, and dinner slots. For example by main dish I mean a sad tray of under cooked chicken which they will uncover and serve at 5 and sadly most meats will be sad and cooked long enough but too long ago, and every vegetable is oily and mushy. The staples like the burger and pizza are akin to what you might find in a prison or a high school, both drenched in this mysterious orange grease which is what I'm sure is what gives Trump his pumpkin glow and could also probably be used to lubricate a mechanical drive. The soft serve and cookies are solid b
For any new freshmen, this isn't the pulse on dining. This also isn't Morgan dining hall. This place is known as DAKA by everyone except the new freshman each year. The food seems good at the beginning, but throughout the year you'll realize that it's pretty mid. Soft serve ice cream is good and the pasta is consistently pretty decent. The gluten free/vegan station also has some pretty good food sometimes.
Pretty good as far as college food goes. Don't expect anything too special, but I've had worse. There are a few select things that are offered on a daily basis that make good go-to meals if the specials don't look appetizing. Beats anything I can cook on my own and I don't have to clean up the mess.
The real reason that freshman gain their 'freshman 15' is from the cookies that are made fresh all the time. This is an all you can eat for one meal swipe and it is all really good food except the pasta which is mostly partially cooked
