WuJu Korean BBQ

Came around 1:30 and got a seat immediately. The interior is simple, but the service was really nice — they brought us two cups of hot tea right away. We ordered the LA galbi and a small army stew. The BBQ portion was generous and the meat was thick and tasty. The army stew was good too. They served seven kinds of banchan (side dishes). The japchae was delicious, but unfortunately it was sold out when we tried to get a refill. The other sides were also quite good, though portions were on the smaller side. Overall, good service and solid food, would come back again for the BBQ!

What else do I need to say!?...After getting food from here one time, I now drive all the way from Kirkland to Lynwood just to get their food. A wonderfully peaceful atmosphere, which is perfect for an intimate / private meal or getting together with friends and family. VERY kind staff members who always go above and beyond.

Drove by many times and glad my son and I finally stopped in for lunch. It was early just as they opened at 11:00am so not crowded. The menu had a nice variety and we chose Bento Boxes. I had tender, well-seasoned short ribs. The box included numerous VERY tasty items and LOVED the flavor of the homemade Kimchee. I bought a large container to take home. Our server was awesome! She was extremely friendly and attentive. Very good price for the amount and we needed to take some home in a box for next days lunch. We WILL BE BACK with the rest of my family to have the experience of making our own meat on their grill!

I rarely take the time to write reviews, but I have to share my experience with this restaurant because it was truly disappointing. My boyfriend and I went here yesterday to celebrate our anniversary. We made a reservation and did not have to wait for table as it was empty when we came in. Our waitress was very nice, and the food was good, even though the portions seemed small. We got the beef combo, and the total of our bill came out to $130 and some change. After he signed the bill and turned away to leave, this hostess called him back to the counter and told him he did not leave a tip. We thought the bill already included gratuity just because the bill was higher than we expected. He asked if tipping was optional but she insisted that he leave a tip without answering him.
