Wyomissing Public Library

This is a nice little library with friendly, helpful staff and lots of good programs for kids. There are a few toys and puzzles, as well as computers in the kids' area. The building is beautiful, historic, and well maintained. The selection of books and DVDs is on the small side.

Fabulous library with friendly and welcoming staff. Restrooms are clean and there is plenty of parking on the road. Kids play area is wonderful with lots of toys, books, computers, blocks etc. Wonderful seating area to read to children. Large space for rent and teenage quiet area for study. Definitely recommend visiting!

Overall a great experience first the building is beautiful and historic. The staff is super helpful and friendly and is ultimately there is a resource. The computers are fast and the facility is nice and clean and everybody's friendly. They have a lot going on for kids and adults

On Tuesday June 26 2018 I visited the Wyomissing Public Library. Located in the heart of tree-lined downtown Wyomissing Borough, the Wyomissing library is open for business six days a week. I haven't been there in years and it was easy to verify my account. I enjoy browsing the extensive children's books section. I have always found something there to spark my interest. There is a computer room, a reading room with current newspapers, and a balcony where used books for sale are located. I have never had any problems parking there. When I use the library I simply park across the street. To return books after hours there is a slot in the middle door where items can be returned. I always check the new additions case. New fiction and non-fiction books are put there when they come in.

My family and I have had such a wonderful experience at this library. The people are very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. It is super easy to sign up for a library card as well. The building itself is so unique and has a great area for kids. My daughter loves browsing the many different books in children’s section and they are always getting in new and popular material each week we visit. We also really enjoy attending Preschool Story Time that is held twice a week. I think it’s great that it’s held on a Wed as well as a Thur to accommodate different schedules. The teacher, Miss. Candace, is super sweet and makes the class fun with stories, dancing, music, and bubbles. My daughter loves it! They occasionally bring in special guests as well.
