Würst Bier Hall Downtown

We stopped in at the Wurst Bier Hall for a break after walking downtown Fargo on a Sunday afternoon. We each had a cold beer and split the Bavarian pretzel, which was fabulous. We asked for both the beer cheese and the marshmallow fluff dipping sauces for the pretzel. The marshmallow fluff was a sweet treat that nicely complimented the slightly salty and warm pretzel. The Hall was pretty empty late on a Sunday afternoon, which we found relaxing. (Note that the cow mural is on the alley wall right next to this building.)

Monique took care of us today. Wonderful service, excellent food. Good beers. We had the bacon sampler appetizer, Jäger Schnitzel and bratwurst.

After finally being able to check out this highly recommended spot, we were incredibly displeased at our experience. Arrived at 430pm on a Saturday afternoon, not very busy at all. Sat at the bar and planned to enjoy a flight and a snack. Took the bartender 7 minutes to even come to us, which is not completely unacceptable, but after taking our flight and one drink order, he started to fill my husband's flight glasses on the board...and then walked away. We sat...and sat...and someone came by from the kitchen, asked if we had been helped. Said yes, but we don't know where he went. We were told he must have had to redo a keg. Ok, fine. Shortly after said bartender was at the register entering an order from another table, he had not been redoing a keg, and he started to fill multiple differe

Excellent food and service!! Very clean with a great atmosphere. Did I mention how good the food was? Well I will say it again! Excellent! I had the jagerschnitzel

In terms of a unique experience visiting Fargo this one takes the cake. Unique dishes and a great variety of customization for the dishes I imagine has the locals coming back for seconds frequently. The beer on tap is also awesome as well and not at all boring.
