X Bar Ranch Nature Retreat

Very nice ranch with variety of different cbin and edges. Cabin we got was very clean and cozy with all the items needed. Christy was super helpful. Huge darksky place for Astronomy. Very less light pollution.

It was a quiet peaceful respite from the daily drudgery of life. The pool was refreshing. Birdsong was a perfect size for two people. We had plenty of kitchen utensils for our needs. The star viewing at night was a huge plus.

Spiny Star - The place was perfect! Just what I wanted. A place to get feel off the grid, stars to stare at and nature by my side. Great communication between the owners and I too! I didn't even know there were hiking trails which was fun my daughter and I. The pool was a fun plus! I tried my hardest to keep us off devices, but my daughter was thrilled to wind down to her evening cartoon on Netflix. The place was clean and the a/c worked great which I had my doubts since its already 100+ outside. Over all, just a wonderful place and somewhere I'd love to come back and spend more time.

My daughter and I had the whole place to ourselves when we visit on a week day. We went to do some astrophotography and were treated to beautiful clear dark skies all night. The facilities are nice and well kept. Comfortable beds and very astronomy friendly with almost no lighting outside at night. Bathroom and shower are very small (like RV camping small). Not a problem for us, but worth mentioning.

X Bar Ranch is an outstanding place to just relax and get away from it all. Well-furnished and well-equipped. Lovely decorated. Rember that it is very remote from any town or store, so plan ahead with your food and drinks.
