I hired this firm to prepare and file my 2023 taxes. I later started receiving multiple notices from the IRS and the State of North Carolina, including one stating that my 2023 return was not filed. When I first contacted the firm about IRS notices related to Form 8962, I was told that the issue was on my end and was sent a revised page with instructions to mail it to the IRS myself. When I asked follow-up questions about how this might affect the rest of my return and what I owed, my concerns were not really addressed, and over time my emails stopped getting responses. Since then, I’ve received repeated IRS correspondence, identity verification issues, a penalty notice from NC, and confirmation that my 2023 return was not filed.
