No-nonsense and efficient restaurant. The food was great and the service was excellent, without any expectation of tips. I ordered the lamb dried noodles and they were excellent. You can adjust the spiciness level, which I really appreciated—as someone who can’t handle too much spice. Would happily come back for another straightforward, well-executed meal.

Basically a take out shop. Ordered the broad egg noodles with lamb that supposedly Anthony Bourdain raved about. I ordered it extra spicy and they didn’t hold back. Didn’t ruin it with heat but was outstanding. I’m in the middle of the meal writing a review if that’s any clue to the quality. Excited to try other food soon.

IYKYK. Spicy lamb is to die for. Fan of the refreshing concept of no tips also. 10/10

Great to have Xi'an Famous Foods in the neighborhood! My go to orders are the spicy and sour pork and cabbage dumplings and the spicy cumin lamb noodles. The quality and service is consistent. The staff are friendly and efficient.

First time at Xi’an FF, it was very pleasant experience, great flavor spicy food I would say ! Most of the dishes has a strong flavor or cumin. The place wasn’t too packed but was busy. We ordered couple of dishes and was ready to pick up not too late. They have nice bright seating which we liked a lot, and the place was very well maintained in terms of cleanliness. Will definitely go back, and they have a lot of stores across NYC.
