Money-saving tip: pay on the InKind app and get a 20% credit. Xi’an has a limited menu and no lunch specials, which keep overall prices lower. As a diner, you must love spice to some degree because if you request “no spice” then what’s the point? But don’t be alarmed because their “regular spice level” is not overwhelming. The stir-fried Liang-Pi cold skin noodles ($9.45 plus tax) and spinach dumplings ($9.95) are worth trying. The beef muscle hand-ripped noodles ($14.95) could have been more tender.

Great service! They patiently answered my questions about new options on the menu. Portions are great and prices are super reasonable especially for NYC! My brother in law lives across the street so I always come here when I’m visiting. 5/5 stars!!! Wish they had this at home!!

I didn’t want to leave the review but it happened multiple times. I was born in Xi’an and the pork burger was one of my favorites my mom used to cook. I’m glad that there is one restaurant near my mom’s in NYC. Anyway, I ordered 5 pork burgers and all of them were filled with fat and minimal lean meat. All the burgers were also only Half filled. I actually mentioned to the people with courtesy not to put too much fat in but, but the girl told me that,” I’m sorry, it is too late. We already made most of them.” The burgers should be filled with most lean meat and fine touch of some fat to make it tasty. We joked the pork burgers are “poor man’s burgers.” However, If it sales the RMB as USD, I thought it will at least have enough meat inside. The quality is horrible.

I liked the vibe of this place. I got in and ordered on the screen. I got the spicy stir fry cumin lamb hand ripped noodles for around $15-16.You have the options of adjustung the spice level and choosing less oil, less vegetable etc so thats nice. When my food was ready, I was called to come collect it. The food was nice. It felt like non Chinese american food in the sense that it was not sweet at all and had a more mature taste (almost bitter in a way because of the spice and cumin). I enjoyed it. Its nit obvious in the picture but the dish itself has a lot of oil so its good they give you the less oil option.

They no longer have my favorite item the lamb paomo but the cold skin noodles are good as usual. I showed the young guy the poster of the new tiger salad next to the register asking if I could get this and he gladly keyed it in. He came to help me from the back cuz there’s a line waiting for the kiosk. So I got my order 91 and realized that they’ve given me a pork burger and the noodles. I brought my tray up to the front immediately and said “I think I had a salad not a burger,” and the middle-aged woman behind the counter didn’t seem to understand what I said and started to talk to someone else behind me at length. Then the guy who placed my order saw me, remembered what had happened, and remade me a salad, which was very nice and helpful. When he called me for the salad I offered to ret
