Xi'an Gourmet House (Midtown)

Got the Spicy Cumin Lamb Noodles! They were amazing! I'm getting it again next time. The noodles were soft and chewy, and the lamb was soft and flavorful! The wait time was a little over 10 mins at about 7:10pm. You order at the counter at the screen, and they bring the food out. It's right by the Midtown train stop, too. They validate parking for 1 hour. There's a code on the door.

I like Spicy cumin lamb noodle, I had it with soup and extra spicy. The taste was amazing!!! And the portion was so huge. All the food was good and fast. Just only my dumplings were not hot, but sauce tasted amazing. I lowkey think that the restaurant is small and crowded. We went there during dinner time and we got really great service. They also offered us free soft drinks if we follow them on Instagram.

We are visiting from out of town and learned about Xi’an Gourmet House on a food blog. Such a great recommendation! Friendly and welcoming staff. They helped guide us through the menu and made recommendations. We got the Spicy Cumin Lamb Noodles and the Stir-fry Tomato and Egg Noodles. The broths were so hearty and flavorful. And the noodles were perfect—dense and sticky. All the spices stuck to the noodles and every bite was delicious. It’s a lot of food, so come hungry!

Affordable, Large portion, Delicious, freshly cooked, and super friendly staffs. Can never go wrong here! It’s also Michelin recommended for 2025. Right now Jan 2026, I’m sure they’ll keep it again in 2026! It’s also close to the botanical garden. Great option for energy supply after walks in the garden parks!

This is my second time here, I got the lamb and beef noodles, both dry. I also got the cucumber salad. The noodles were good, but with soup I think it’s better. Also the cucumber salad was extra mushy, it wasn’t as mushy the first time I got it. Overall I think everything tasted good!
