Yak N Yeti

Yak N Yeti slaps so hard. Everything on the menu is great. This Paneer Chili is the best meal in Austin. I order it extra super spicy hot, and they always know the assignment. Very friendly folks as well.

***Jhol Momo and Sadheko Momo*** I wish I could give zero stars for this food. I was craving momos, so I decided to give Yak N Yeti a try through Uber Eats. The moment we opened the packaging, a stale smell hit us, but I decided to try them anyway. The taste was pathetic and stale—absolutely disgusting. I have never had such terrible momos in my life. I immediately had stomach pain and vomited after an hour. It felt like I paid $35 to make myself sick. I would not recommend this to anyone. If you still want to give it a chance, do so at your own risk.

We waited 45 minutes for the food to arrive. Kids were super hungry and getting restless. Waiter said they are understaffed and said it will take 10 more minutes. Veg momos (dumpling), Garlic Naan, Paneer Tikka Masala & Malai Kofta were fresh and delicious - Veg noodles was sour - tasted just ok. Paneer Tikka masala and Malai Kofta portion was small. We had to order another Paneer Tikka masala - that was delayed again. In spite of all the delays, they didn’t offer any compensation or discounts whatsoever. Price was on the expensive side for that ambience and service. There were many takeouts or delivery orders - looked they gave preference to them. I wouldn’t recommend dining in unless you are super patient or tolerant to slow service.

This restaurant is best for Nepali foods with authentic Nepali flavours. I had Chicken Tikka Masala with Gralic Naan. Very reasonable with price. Service was also good. Employees were friendly. I would definitely recommend to try Nepali foods and Indian foods. Authentic with flavours. Fres, Authentic and Delicious.

Yak N Yeti is a great spot for Nepali and Indian food. We had momos, butter chicken, and naan, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The spices were well balanced and portions were satisfying. The service was excellent—staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. Overall, a very pleasant dining experience. Highly recommended!
