This place has incredible service and a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. We ordered an Alaska roll, shrimp tempura roll, chicken katsu and finished with green tea tempura ice cream. The accompanying sides of miso soup and fresh salad paired very nicely and are complimentary when you order during lunch time. Food came out at a good pace. The sushi was very fresh. The chicken katsu was extremely delicious. The breading was crispy with a light flaky crunch and the chicken was savory and flavorful and moist. Overall, a very inviting experience that I want to experience again. Only recommendation would be to maybe have some light music playing for dine in customers. 8.5/10

Great deal and good prices. Unfortunately, this place gave me the worst aches and stomach pains of my life. I eat sushi all the time and consider myself a big sushi fan, but this sushi genuinely caused food poisoning symptoms. I know it wasn’t just me because my boyfriend ate the same food and experienced the exact same thing—we met here for lunch. I really wanted to like this spot since it’s so close to me, but unfortunately… ouch.

This is a wonderful place to come and enjoy sushi with friends and family. The atmosphere is welcoming, the ordering process is smooth and easy, and the food is top-notch. Highly recommend!

Came here for the first time and was really impressed the sushi tasted fresh and authentic, the lady was super friendly and welcoming, the wait wasn’t long at all, and the whole experience was great. I’d definitely come back again.!🍣

BEST SUSHI I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!! I’ve tried many places around jersey but nothing compares to Yama ll Sushi. Food is super fresh!! I usually have my favorites (Salmon skin & Alaska) but even though when I try something different they always surprise me. Love the miso soup and seaweed salad, haven’t found better than the one they offer. Also the staff is very friendly and attentive. Great service over all!!
