BEST JAMAICAN FOOD HANDS DOWN! During the snow storm I was stuck in a hotel in Brooklyn and I ordered this place on uber eats and got the cook up with boiled dumplings and some porridge. I was so shocked that they would even be open and I felt so lucky someone delivered it. Can you believe after 2 hours on waiting for the delivery the food was still warm 🥹 It was my first time trying food like this and the flavors were bursting! You know when food is so good you crave it again the very next day? That’s what happened the food was just as consistent and had me filled all day. Weeks later I’m craving that porridge and I decide to go to the actual restaurant. The staff was super friendly and the food was just as good as I remember. I recommend this place to anyone craving good authentic Jamai

Food is usually delicious. Not a very wide variety. Soups are the best. Curried shrimp is very good although portions tend to be more rice than shrimp. Servers tend to have a very serious attitude with no smiles. Be sure to count your change. Some servers tend to tip themselves with your change.

Lots of options available. Ordert he escovich chicken but it was covered in a space that was way too sweet and a side of mac and cheese that was lacking flavor. The brown stew chicken and rice a peas is OK. Not as good as it once was.

I called ahead of time to ask some questions about the foods they offered since I couldn’t find a menu online. The woman answered all my questions and even told me about the daily lunch special! When I got there, I let them know I called earlier and she remembered me and fixed my plate. Had no problem subbing extra vegetables instead of the rice. The place was clean and food was delicious. The curry goat is spicy while the ox tail is slightly sweet. The peas and rice are great but I love the cabbage the most!

I go there just for the porridge.. I always get a Lil attitude because I ask for a certain container to put it in but they always give me what I want. The taste is perfection. Can be a Lil sweet but not overbearing. Worth the price🙂
