Yaroa tropical

Gave this location a try ,and honestly was just disappointed. The chimi the res was very sloppy, bread wasn't toasted, it looked how it taste bad. The meat was overly season and for the price honestly it's not worth. The yaroa was ok, the chicken was also overly season, did not have much cheese, it was just on overall bad experience with the food.

I never had Yaroa or Morir Soñando so I went to this place as it just opened. I waited 20 minutes (I was the only one there). I laid close to $22 for my meal. The meat in the Yaroa was sweet for some reason and no it wasn’t plantains I got fries. And the morir soñando just tasted like sweet milk. I’ve seen how its made and it always seemed like it should taste like a creamsicle but it was just sweetened milk with no citrus taste at all. DeMusa has been my go to since this day and they hook me up every time.

I had really wanted to like this place. But the food was bland, sloppy, and just not good. They charge way too much for extremely mediocre food!

Absolutely love this place! Ordered 3 days in a row! We had a little bit everything, we had the mofonguito, a chimi, some empanadas, quesadilla and the picadera…all of it was delicious and we can’t wait to go back. Not to mention the customer service was incredible.

My wife and I stopped by for lunch and had two, new to us, fantastic sandwiches. The roast pork chimi was stuffed with meat and delicious. The roll was soft and the meat was tender and juicy. We also had the patacones, fantastic shredded beef in an extremely flavorful sauce sandwiched between a fried pancake of plantain. The sandwiches were served with an addictive garlic cilantro sauce that put them over the top. We can’t wait to try thy cachapas and yaroas next time. The food was fresh and home cooked. Awesome.
