The portion sizes are generous, and the service was friendly and attentive. It’s no wonder locals and travelers alike keep coming back here — this breakfast spot really delivers a delicious start to the day in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend if you’re craving a classic, satisfying breakfast in Amarillo! 🍳🥞☕️
The omelet here was one of the best I’ve had in a long time—perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The ingredients tasted fresh and the portion size was generous. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. This has become one of our favorite places to stop whenever we’re in Amarillo, and it’s definitely worth the visit if you’re looking for a great breakfast.
The food is delicious!! And for such good pricing!! Edwin was our waiter, he was sweet! On top of our drinks and checked on us periodically. The pictures say it all 🩷 we love local shops within an Amarillo for this reason!
This is an older generation type place with a lot of locals showing up for breakfast and cross talking between tables. The service was quick and very attentive. My waitress kind of reminded me of Flo on an old TV show. You know your stepping a little back in time with the inside and outside decor. The breakfast skillet I got was plenty of food for a big guy, but the chicken fried steak and general taste of the meal was a little bland. When I'm back in Amarillo I'll give it another go with a different meal and we'll see.
I was visiting from out of town and was looking for some breakfast before hiking. Stumbled upon this old gem. The place was pretty full, but we were seated immediately. The waitstaff was very friendly, and we had several conversations during our time there. The food was a great portion for the price, and the ingredients tasted fresh. Not surprising that this restaurant has been in business for so long and they boast so many regulars!
