Fairly average hot pot. Soup is flavorful. You get to specify the level of spiciness but is is way less spicy than you ask for. $13.99/lb is expensive if you get mostly vegetables. Service is rather non-existent other than delivering your soup bowls to the table. The sauce area is very dirty from others dripping sauce everywhere. When they prepare your bowl the noodles are way overcooked and soggy. I would rather have hotpot at a restaurant where you cook your own.
The food is really good but the guy wearing black at front is really rude. He shouts and talks so impolitely. He was yelled at us and made us so uncomfortable as other guest were surprised too because of his unpleasant behavior. I understand it’s busy and you are under pressure but I think we don’t deserve such kind of behavior. The one star at service is only because of that guy because he ruined our entire vibe. Apart from him I think everyone is really good and nice
Enjoyed the whole experience of making my soup and it was delicious! Loved the vibes. I felt like i was in China 🥰 ingredients were all fresh and clean.
I've been looking for a place to get close to the personal hot pot place I tried in Taipei a couple of years ago and this is it! We both got the mala dry pot (no soup) and the flavor was fantastic. There were a good number of szechuan peppercorn making it nice and numbing. The selection of meats, vegetables, noodles, etc. was much larger than the usual place we go. And the sauce bar had way more options too! Go in, put your name on the wait-list and wait for them to give you a table. Then you can go up and grab your food and get it weighed. They'll bring it to you by matching the number on a keychain thing. Pay at the end.
I have been wanting to try this hotpot place and finally got to go this weekend. I came around 12pm and there wasn't a wait to get your table. The employee first assigns you a table and then you can grab a bowl and start choosing your hotpot ingredients. They have lots of options for vegetables, meat, and other hotpot toppings. I would say their noodle options are a bit lacking though. They have beef, lamb, and seafood options. A lot of Asian vegetables and others like mushrooms, baby corn, etc. After choosing, you give it to the employee to weigh and choose your soup. After that, they give you a key tag with your bowl number. You can also order their drinks and other side dishes here. I got the tomato broth since it is the only non-spicy broth and I wasn't sure how mild their mild is. I
