I can say 4.5 stars, good boba drink. Bao with shrimp they have to change . Doesn’t taste at all . Dumplings are good

First drink tasted very off, i explained iy tasted syrupy and two staff just stared at me in a condescending way. Manager asked "whats up" after I explained twice to the cashier, totally unbothered to help me. I asked for a new one and they made it totally wrong (they gave me passionfruit lemonade instead of pasionfruit black tea with tapioca). They tried to charge me for boba for the new drink and the manager didnt even care to fix the drink after I pointed out the guy made it with lemonade, which I never mentioned I wanted. Awful and slow service with no care for customer satisfaction. I'm usually not one to complain about boba places but my visit was actually 0/10

Overall, I’m happy to have tried Yip, for a mall food court spot, it was decent. The food was hit or miss. The dumplings were actually the disappointment. I tried soup dumplings and crispy pork dumplings. I could have honestly done without them. The steamed chicken dumplings were better. I also ordered the BBQ pork bun and the duck bao bun. They were absolutely delicious. The strawberry lemonade boba was also incredibly good. Long story short, there are some great items, and others that don’t justify the cost … cafeteria quality dumplings but not cafeteria prices.

The presentation and the service was good. The food came with ample napkins and was nicely packed in cardboard boxes. The dumpling sauce was okay. However that’s about the extent of the positive experience. The soup dumplings had no soup inside of it whatsoever. In fact, the dough was super tough. The 305 dumpling was acceptable. Chili oil is an additional charge. First time experiencing a dim sum place charging for chili oil.

I ordered a tea with popping boba, employee made it with tapioca. Forgot about my friends order, saw me trying to talk to her multiple times but gave me dirty looks and ignored me. When I told her about my friends order missing her order she started to make it and then walked to the back room, proceeded to take other people’s orders. Only gave my friend her drink after 30 minutes and me having to bring it up infront of everyone. Horrible service.
