Yokohama Japanese Restaurant

This was a really great dining out date night , the presentation of the food was beautiful. They sat us at the prep bar area an with it gave us a FREE radish type salad that we had never tasted ..it hot the spot .. they made what is a very rear night out for us very special an friendly outgoing service ! We will an have eaten there many times since !!

We always sit at the bar when its not busy, otherwise I feel we are in the way of food services. This is my only reservation. Im a big fan of "unagi" and they always seem to prepare and serve it perfectly. No matter what time of day or which chef is preparing it. I recommend the Dragon Knight roll and a crisp Asahi to wash it down.

This is a consistently good restaurant serving fresh quality sashimi. Whenever we are in the area, we like to eat here. We ate all the sashimi before we could take a photo. It’s a good value.

Our visit didn't start well. We weren't greeted, and when the hostess finally did recognize us, she simply picked up two menu's and led us to a table without saying a single word! Not exactly friendly, to say the least. Our order was taken in a reasonable amount of time (Dining at 6 pm, Sunday evening), as the dining room was not too busy. Miso soup was a bit watered down, but ok. We ordered Master Roll, Snowy Mountain Roll and Awesome Roll. Our food came in less than 15 minutes. The fish was fresh, high quality, and plentiful. Not too much rice, in the sushi rolls, and the combination of ingredients was perfect. Dining room was clean, and the table spacing was comfortable. Highly recommend.

Shusi and Sashimi lunch sets, Shusi lunch special and Sashimi lunch special were great with a bowl of rice. The first one was Togo, and the pack did not include a bowl of rice but included a salad or soup.
