Customer Reviews
Our server Lucy was lovely and gave us great recommendations. The handrolls were a good value! My favorite by far was the blue crab!! The fried shishito pepper was so good with it. And my second favorite was the hokkaido scallop. The chef that made our roll also looked very knowledgeable and was sweet presenting the rolls to us. The salmon and the yellowtail handrolls were ok.
Pretty mediocre and very overpriced. The tuna tarts had a previously-frozen taste and the crackers on one of them were actually stale. Three of the sushi pieces had a lot of skin of them and nothing tasted great. The hand rolls were the highlight especially the one with tempura but still not great. We felt ill afterwards. Counter was cramped and the stools don’t have backs. Given the line for take-out, that might be the way to go here. The train station has a huge bathroom problem with homeless in the stalls who smell horrific. I mean you go in and it is so incredibly bad you want to throw up. It’s like the third world.

Fast, fresh, and delicious sushi right inside the Moynihan Food Hall at Penn Station! Ordering is super convenient — just scan the QR code at any table in the food hall and they’ll deliver your sushi right to you. If you manage to grab a seat at the sushi counter, you can even watch the chefs prepare everything right in front of you. It’s a busy spot (as expected inside a major train station), but that’s part of the energy. A steady mix of locals and travelers is always a good sign. Overall, it’s a great choice for quick, tasty, and convenient dining while waiting for your train.
I was really disappointed with my order. The seaweed salad I received looked nothing like the one in the photo — completely different and not appetizing at all. The sushi was also very bland and had no flavor. Definitely not worth the price.
