Yonutz Donuts and Ice Cream - Desert Ridge Phoenix

Donuts were delish! Was a weird vibe in the store... employees all disappeared as soon as we paid for our food and we only saw one appear when someone was ordering. We were left alone, which was fine, but made the place feel kind of off. We drove an hour to try some donuts for my bday, but we probably won't be going back anytime soon. The person taking our order seemed a bit annoyed that we took time to decide, since we'd never been there we were trying to decide what would be best since there weren't many choices. We expected more variety, so we were disappointed only a handful of flavors were available. The cheesecake one was the best, the oreo one was way too heavy on the sugar, but we still ate it all so...hahaha

The service was very good, but the young lady could have used some help. In just 10 minutes, 29 people walked in. She was alone and handled the situation well, but the manager should have staffed appropriately. I understand there might have been a call-out, but if that’s the case, the manager should have been there to help her. I felt sorry for her.

I love this place! Super cute with great treats. The biscoff milkshake is out of this world!! And the owner is super sweet.
