Yoolks On Us

Came back 1yr later food still delicious. Catfish fried just right golden brown and seasoned to perfection topped with a poached egg. Jumbo Shrimp and grits had me speechless. Jumbo pineapple mimosa. My server Bre was 5stars alone. Great customer service very attentive.

This was a great place for breakfast. Blueberry pancakes were great. I truly enjoyed the fluffy inside and the burst of each blueberry with every bite. And the pineapple mimosa was great. Our server was friendly and fast. The atmosphere was lovely. Beautifully decorated. Be sure to bring cash or there's a charge for using your card. Not a lot but just a heads up. We went around 9 am to beat the crowd and the ENTIRE menu is available all day, no matter if you want pancakes and bacon or fried wings and fries they are ready for you. Kinda small but they get you in quickly. We didn't feel rushed at all. Two thumbs up gone me.👍👍

We decided to try out a local spot only about a mile from the house… The disappointment is real. We have never been so we try to each get different things to sample a variety. We waited a while for food. The French toast was okay… needs something for sure…. Pancakes were very dark and lacking flavor overall. The country gravy for the country fried chicken is surely out of a can. The side of toast you receive with that combo comes under the chicken and cover in gravy. Grits are unseasoned and no one comes back to the table so you can get at least some butter. I order my eggs over medium they came out over easy… but they did fix that. My daughter and I found time to meet for breakfast and decided to try Yoolks on us on Portsmouth Blvd. We walked in and felt warm and welcomed. We were met by our waitress Makayla who arrived with fresh water, a smile and the best personality. We loved the quality and quantity of the food. The service from our waitress and other staff members is what screams great customer service. The music was top tier. The vibe was perfect. I would rate 10/10 to anyone. Thank you Makayla and everyone. 😊
