Government overreach! They don't trust you to properly care for your own loved one. They insist on invading a private residence to "make sure" my loved one is safe and well cared for. They are suddenly suspicious after a 30 year long record of no such issues, and nothing reported, ever. They think they can come in and dictate how we care for our loved one. This is part of the current radical agenda. It's happiness schools and now to the disabled. They don't trust us, but we're supposed to trust them. Wow, the audacity!

This place was recommended to me by a doctor for my newborn son’s brachial plexus injury because he needed therapy. I called MULTIPLE times and left multiple voicemails due to the person in charge of registration not answering my calls or even returning my phone calls. Eventually, the number stopped working completely so all I got was silence over the other end of the phone. No one who works here seems to care or want to even help, I highly suggest you do not waste your time.

They have severely over worked and underpaid people. Caseloads of over 70 people and adding to it daily and want the workers to be in person with all of them. Writeups for not meeting the needs of all 70 people with no help from managment. Pays the least in the area but has the highest caseload. Noone has been with the department for more than 2 years. They dont care about the community or their workers. It is a shame that they feel 70 people can be serviced by one person in under 40 hours a week. Not to mention they take several months to pay mileage to the workers they force to see multiple people in one day using their own cars. Not to mention that they expect workers to see clients as late as the clients feel is good, 8pm caseworker better make it happen or write ups. It is a mess and

I needed a case worker to help me with some SSI paperwork, and a few other resources and I have used mh/idd in the past, so I called to get an appointment but instead of talking to the person I would have the appointment with, like I have in the past, they sent my call to an administrator of some kind that wasn't even in York. He told me all the scheduling goes through him. So he made me an initial intake appointment for the following week, on a Friday (over the phone). Told me he would talk to his supervisor that monday and definitely call me back monday with either an appointment or he would personally help me over the phone. Monday came and went with no phone call, and I have called 4 or 5 times now asking for a call back and I still haven't gotten one. It's too late at this point the p

Very unprofessional for the type of services they are SUPPOSED to be providing. (Likely being paid for with taxpayer's money.) I talked to two different representatives to try and help with a current case involving a loved one that is in their "care." Ebony Robinson and Sharron, who claimed to be a supervisor to Ebony. Ebony even went as far as to hang up on me just one minute into our conversation.
