York Food La Cabaña

Hands down the best Dominican food around! As a proud Dominican, I can tell you—this place nails the flavors. Every bite took me home. The food came out fast, beautifully plated, and packed with authentic Caribbean taste. The servers were super friendly and genuinely attentive, making the whole experience even better. If you're ever in York, do yourself a favor—don’t just pass by. This is Caribbean cuisine at its absolute best.

Food is always on point! Great taste and amazing service! The picalonga is great for groups, and their yaroa is really good too, will continue to stop by and try other dishes.

Absolutely the best food I’ve had in such a long time!! The mofongo made me tear up that’s how good it was 😭 and they gave me a whole skirt steak, of course cooked to perfection! The pastelillos of beef and cheese…the cheese pull like come on…phenomenal! The yaroa mixto meat in every bite! The piña colada…did I just teleport to the Caribbean 🏝️lol but seriously the food was crazy good and not to mention the service! They were so warm and inviting, also super fast service. They really have that Caribbean charm ♥️ 10/10 recommend!!

Very clean place with a kind staff. The food was delicious (best in York so far) and cheap I paid under 30 for what I consider a good amount of food and 2 drinks. I highly recommend this place. Location is next to the ministries and cash mart.

Had their pasteles and it was flavorless , I thought it was just me but I had gifted my other two and the person also said they didn’t like them . I’m a big fan of them so to go all that way for something flavorless was really dissatisfying . The atmosphere is great though , service was good .
