Little run down place but our breakfast was yummy and server was really sweet and on top of everything. Will be back to try more stuff

While eating at a restaurant across the street we noticed this new business. Stopped in for dinner a few days later after seeing a few good reviews on Google. The only thing we found to be outstanding in this old diner was the service. Our server was absolutely fantastic, friendly, and attentive. Even though the diner was busy, our server was extremely prompt with our menus, silverware, drinks, dinner, and dessert. Such a shame that she has to work in an old run down building that is in such dire need of a modern refresh. Training of the cook staff is very questionable. The beef in our cheesesteak sandwich/sub as well as the fried chicken in our wrap were extremely over cooked, dry and tough. The quantity of beef on our cheesesteak sandwich/sub was quite paltry and didnt even cover the bot

My work and I doordashed a larger order at 7am. Lunch, dinner, and breakfast items. The store called us to ask questions about our toast choices to ensure accuracy. The ham loaf and chicken stir fry were some of the best food I've had in a long time. No one had any complaints and we plan to make this our normal spot moving forward. I highly recommend their food.

We got breakfast takeout. It was pretty good. Home fries were bland though. Omelette was good. Portions were decent. No flat wear provided. Friendly person over the phone. We would eat from here again.

I was excited to try this new diner. They did not disappoint. The food was excellent and well priced. Love that they have breakfast ALL DAY. The service was superb! Definitely will recommend York Shire Diner to everyone for a new eating option in York, PA. THANK YOU York Shire Diner!
