I’ve been to this seafood & bun restaurant in Rowland Heights many times. Whenever I’m in the area and don’t know what to eat, I somehow always end up back here (hehe). The reason is simple — I really love their Goubuli buns 🥟 As soon as you walk in, it already feels festive and New Year–ready. The space is roomy, the lighting is warm, and the table spacing is comfortable. It’s great for family gatherings or lively meals with friends. The service is thoughtful too, and the dishes come out quickly — no long waiting ( ´ ▽ ` ) This time, we ordered the Year of the Horse Lunar New Year set — $88, which comes with eight dishes. I came to this restaurant at 5pm in a party of 16. Friends said this place looked good because they saw it on social media. The building felt fancy, there was no one there besides us which is surprising. The Chinese music playing was extremely loud and the lighting was dark. It wasn't as great because the portions are too tiny to serve not even half of us. Razor clam too skinny, lobster too small, and most of the seafood tasted the same, just different texture because they put tons of garlic and sauced it up. We ended up spending $300 in total, if not more. Not sure what the use of the steamer in the middle of the table is for, since they could just pre-cook or heat it up and bring it out. Fresh seafood and generous portions. The steamed lobster was sweet and perfectly cooked, clams were clean and juicy, and the jellyfish salad was refreshing with great texture. Braised beef was tender and flavorful. Simple cooking, quality ingredients, and everything tasted fresh. Will be back.

We had an amazing experience at this steam seafood & dumpling restaurant! The seafood was incredibly fresh and steamed perfectly, keeping all the natural sweetness and flavor. The dumplings were just as impressive—soft wrappers, juicy fillings, and made fresh. Everything tasted clean, light, and delicious. Service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. Highly recommend if you love fresh seafood and authentic dumplings!
