Yum Yum Better Ice Cream

Love this place! The ice cream is homemade and the vibe is so retro. I like that their ice cream is not too sweet, as a lot of places make theirs overly sweet. Both times I’ve been there, I’ve gotten the peach ice cream. My wife this second time got the strawberry. My daughter tasted both of ours and she really liked it too. Located in a nice area and the outdoor seating is great.

The hotdog was good and the ice cream was REALLY good! I paid for everything at once, but the guy who took my order was really nice and offered me the choice to bring the paper with my ice cream order on it after I had eaten my hotdog to avoid it melting. I accepted, especially with having ordered a cone. It could have gotten messy quickly. 😅 I really appreciate his consideration. He seemed to be enjoying his work, as well. The only downside was the middle-aged woman with straight hair and glasses. After I had eaten my hotdog, I got back in line to bring the paper with my ice cream order on it. There were about half a dozen people in line, so it wasn't too long of a wait. Once I got to the front of the line, and I had given her my order, this woman said with the ugliest of tones, "Just lea

The ice cream here is the best in the area! Unique flavors that most ice cream joints don't offer and they do them exceptionally well. Service is friendly and speedy. Definitely a no frills establishment with very reasonable prices.

I laughed at 1star reviews. Occasionally, you get somebody is having a bad day at any restaurant or retail location. For the majority of the time I’ve ever been here since I was 20 which is 19 years since my first time the staff has been absolutely incredible and the ice cream is the best in town. Let me tell you one thing about a few of the staffers especially a lady named Phyllis. Start off Phyllis was incredibly nice incredibly helpful knew her ice cream selection to a T. After introducing myself, she called me by my first name to hand me a sample of the chocolate almond ice cream. It was absolute fire. People like her or what make me drive an hour to simply get a scoop of ice cream. The rest of the staff was extremely nice. The fan that’s pumping out that amazing hotdog and onion

Old school atmosphere, put you in the 80’s mood. The hotdogs are supreme, reminds me of my childhood in the 70’s and 80’s. I will definitely come back here when I’m in Greensboro. The young people working in there have great customer service skills.
