They have a variety of Banh Mi sandwiches and build-your-own ramen, as well as boba teas (you can choose how much sugar is in it!) and coconut jelly for dessert. I had a Banh Mi and the coconut jelly, and both were so good! The sandwich comes with the veggies and sauce on the side, so you can add whatever you'd like, which I appreciated. There was a sign saying they bake the bread everyday and you can tell, it was delightfully crispy without being abrasive. The coconut jelly was very coconut forward and not too sweet, really good! The staff was super nice and helpful too, highly recommend trying it!

Was in the mood for Vietnamese and was so happy to find Yummy Banh Mi in Cedar Rapids! We ordered the vegetarian Banh Mi sandwich with a fried egg and a vegetarian lo mein bowl, both were flavorful and filling. The matcha tea was also amazing. Highly recommend this gem of a place on Blairs Ferry road!

1st off..RUN! DONT WALK! We were attempting to get some Indian food next door after our record breaking 1.5 ft snow fall, but even though the sign said open, the doors were locked. So, we took a short stroll to Ymmy Bahn Mi and were immediately greeted by a very chipper and pleasant lady behind the counter. As we walked up she asked if we had been here before. "No, our 1st time" I replied and she went over in great detail their sandwich menu. Then pointed to the wall where she had a ramen menu and explained it also. She said take your time but after pondering less than 15 seconds we decided to order. Took our Ramen & sandwiches home, which to my suprise were carefully packaged (toppings for sandwich were in a cute bag for us to assemble at home). The bread was so good too. A nice hoagie, c

I've never had a banh mi before but heard good things about this restaurant. I went on a Saturday and ordered a pork belly banh mi for takeout. The price was reasonable and the sandwich was delicious. The meat was tender, the bread was freshly baked, and the veggies were crisp. I enjoyed it so much that I came back the following Sunday and ordered another one.

An absolute gem in this city. This is actually the best banh mi I have had in my life, and my best friend in childhood was French Vietnamese so I was lucky enough to be exposed to really good food! The owner bakes authentic French bread every morning, which is a serious affair. Many places serve “banh mi” on generic bread loaves, which should be illegal in foodie law (IMO) . The French have strict rules for a loaf of bread to be considered a French baguette (for good reason), and having an authentic baguette is the most important part of banh mi! I mean, it’s literally the name! Beyond the bread, all of the ingredients are of the highest quality. She has a standard for her food that she meets regardless of who is looking or what time of day it is. I have gotten the same exact service and
