We came back since we’re missed the foods here. The portion is very generous, the prices are decent, the taste is just great. The parking is big so plenty of spaces for parking but 1st comes 1st choice. The place is more of hot foods to go but they do have several tables for dine-in. Service is nice and friendly. They do have special deals for dine-in $12 for a dozen of dishes such as sweet & sour pork, Singapore noodle, etc. And 2 dishes for $7.99 with rice for to go. Plenty of choices. The wonton noodle soup is huge, the wontons are big filling and at least 6-8 pieces and the noodle is great. We ordered 3 dishes and 2 side dishes and we have plenty of left over for 2 lunches. The total prices for all of these plus tip is $95 (WAY cheaper than in little Saigon/Korean town). We
First time trying their smoked chicken (Royal Chicken) and the flavor was really good. The sauce went perfectly with it, too. I was ordering it through Weee! to delivery to OC for a potluck and my friends enjoyed them very much. I’ll definitely buy it again!
Honestly, the food was a huge letdown—bland, poorly cooked, and not worth the price at all. To make matters worse, when we went to pay, we selected “No Tip”, but the server handed us a receipt that removed that option and pressured us to leave at least 15%. There was no notice of any mandatory gratuity before ordering, and being told we “had to tip” made the experience uncomfortable and stressful. Between the terrible food and the misleading tipping practices, I cannot recommend this place.
We selected “No Tip” during the payment process. However, the server then brought us a receipt that did not include a “No Tip” option, only preset percentages. When we questioned it, the server explicitly told us we were required to leave at least 15% tip. There was no mandatory gratuity disclosed before ordering, and nothing on the menu indicated tipping was required. This felt misleading and uncomfortable. Tipping should be voluntary unless clearly stated in advance. Removing the “no tip” option and pressuring customers at checkout is not acceptable. I hope management addresses this, because the food aside, the payment experience seriously affected our visit.
Came for lunch today. Ordered fried green beans, crispy beef noodle, and a half roast duck. Waitress reminded us that if our order exceeds 50 bucks, we can get a free dish (for dine-in only). So we added an order of tofu, and received a free order of salt/pepper shrimp. Food tastes good, and I sure will come back again.
