Tampa Bay Food Tours Review: We had the pleasure of visiting the iconic Mazzaro’s Italian Market—a true St. Pete treasure known for its bustling atmosphere, authentic Italian specialties, and incredible selection of wines, cheeses, and pastries. We also stopped by Zagara’s, Mazzaro’s new gelato shop, which is a delightful addition featuring rich, creamy flavors made in true Italian style. And of course, we explored their Old Kitchen Store, a specialty shop that’s been part of the Mazzaro’s family for over 12 years, filled with unique Italian cookware and kitchen treasures. Every visit reminds us why Mazzaro’s is such a beloved local institution and a must-see stop for food lovers in St. Pete! 🇮🇹🍦🧀🍝

I tried the Dubai gelato and was very impressed. It was incredibly creamy with the perfect amount of crunch — rich, smooth, and absolutely delicious. Definitely worth trying!

Our server at Zagira Gelato @ Mazzaro’s Italian Market was super friendly, knowledgeable and offered samples for tasting. The gelato was delicious & in a nice, clean & colorful atmosphere.

Great gelato (ice cream), especially Lemoncello and Fior di Latte. An Espresso is a must 😁

We discovered Zagara Gelato as the wonderful new addition to the Mazzaro's Italian Market family in our latest visit. We make it a point to always go to Mazzaro's whenever we are in St. Petersburg because frankly, nowhere else compares. We were warmly greeted by the owner and the gelatista and they made us feel so at home. Great and friendly service! The gelato was so delicious and we could confirm that it was freshly made. Perfetto! We highly recommend Zagara a must when you are craving gelato. We know we need to add this gelateria to our regular stops in St. Petersburg.
