My family travelled to Dallas for NCAA Women’s Final Four and decided to dine here lose to our hotel. My daughters and I ordered different meals to sample each others plate. The food was amazing. Hospitality and atmosphere was unmatched. Highly recommend to locals and we will definitely revisit when in Dallas. My daughter ordered the fries tilapia that was seasoned to perfection….
Never had Zimbabwean food before but based on how good the food served here is, this won’t be the last time I have some. Tried the fried fish and also tried some samosas and I loved everything. Also had some lemon cookies that were sooo good. Definitely going back and 1000% recommend it!
Great Zimbabwean food! Could use a little more salt in some of the dishes but customer service is impeccable! They have different beverages that give you a piece of home. From viceroy, Amarula, hunters and many more. Been there almost every weekend since they opened. The chakalaka sauce with samosas has me in a choke hold! Their fresh chips (fries) to die for! The fish! Just go try it out if u haven’t!
OMG !!Zambos Restaurant is a hidden gem in town that I can't recommend highly enough. From the moment you step through the doors, you're transported to the heart of Africa with the warm and inviting atmosphere, traditional decor, and delightful aromas wafting from the kitchen. The menu is a culinary adventure through Zimbabwean and African cuisine, with dishes that are both comforting and exotic. I especially loved the tender Mazondo, which was rich and flavorful, and the spicy Maguru, which had just the right amount of heat. The Sadza was the perfect accompaniment, and I loved using it to soak up all the delicious sauces. To top it off, the service was impeccable. The staff was friendly, attentive, and happy to recommend dishes and drinks. Speaking of drinks, the Amarula was an absolute
The smoked salt was amazing, maguru so soft and also amazing. But the gango had two types of veggies, half not fresh other half not cooked. The gango definitely needs some revamping. The brown sadza was served beautifully in plastic rap however it wasn’t hot(not going to question when it was cooked)The vibe was overally fun, great music great people. Looking forward to going again though since this spot is new.
