Zankou Chicken Burbank

Zankou is my family’s go-to spot anytime we’re in the area. My favorite is the chicken tarna sandwich. It’s always fresh and delicious! The staff were friendly and quick with the service. There were also lots of seating available.

Ive eaten Zankou several times and they are very consistent. The food is delicious! There was about a 20 minute wait and the price point is fair considering the quality of the food! Only thing is at this location dont expect restaurant service or smiles and guidance while ordering! Id suggest knowing what you want prior to arrival.

Had a late craving and this place was suggested by Google. The chicken was delicious the beef wasn't. Had some odd flavor I couldn't pinpoint. Would come here again for the chicken. BTW ask for their hot sauce its pretty good.

I love their food. I always have. You cannot go wrong with their menu selection of food either. I can honestly say they're all quite tasty and filling. The staff are also quite friendly and helpful (at least during my most recent visit). My only gripe is the very low and somewhat tight booth bench seating. I'm 6'1 and I had a hard time getting in and out of those seats. If you're a group of 4 tall folks, that will be tough. There are wheelchair / stroller access ramps with a good amount of parking spots too. If you can't park near them, there's also free parking at the lot next to it.

Chicken kabob plate / 2 grilled chicken kabobs, grilled tomato, marinated onions, rice, hummus, cucumber salad, pita, garlic sauce - 5 🌟! Some folks think whole chicken is the way to go at Zankou. Others like the vertical grill meats. I have a personal preference for their kabobs (but definitely enjoy everything on the menu). Something about the Zankou Chicken kabob plate is magical to me. I'm a big guy, and this is a meal that never fails to fill me up. It is always made fresh to order, and the meats they use are tender and filled with flavor. The kabob meats are placed on top of a bed of basmati rice, and the standard plate has cucumber salad and hummus. Every bite winds up being awesome. This is the Burbank location.
