Zao Asian Cafe

I'm visiting SLC for work and needed dinner delivered to my hotel. The STEAK BOWL and CHICKEN POTSTICKERS I got from Zao Asian Cafe was delicious. So flavorful and filling without being heavy. It hit the spot perfectly! What a great choice! I travel here typically once per year for my role. I'll now look forward to Zao Asian Cafe every time I make this trip!

I really enjoyed the yakisoba with chicken and green curry. It was absolutely delicious. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Great place 😃😋

Came here on a afternoon while it was completely empty and ordered 2 bowls for me and my girlfriend. The lady that help me was a some middle aged lady. She was infuriatingly stingy with every portion. She put didn’t give me enough rice, Hardly a scoop of steak that she didn’t even use all of. What made me the most frustrated was that I asked for more sauce and she gave me a dumbfounded look, then just dropped the left over sauce that was left on the spoon. She didn’t even scoop more sauce. Paid almost 30 dollars to be hungry again. I don’t think I’ll be back. Save yourself some money and go to Panda Express . They can be just as healthy.

#1 spot for lunch in SLC! Extremely fair prices, delicious food, and some of the kindest/quickest staff Ive had the pleasure to see frequenting a spot for lunch. With many different combos to try, my favorite so far is any special protein on the menu (kung pao chicken) and loading up a wrap with all the toppings. Cant go wrong with Zao's!

the food is good, there is no free wifi which sucks, the tables are a little dirty, and the employees look pissed and dont smile. makes the experience uncomfortable. overall not so bad. also the food is expensive. I came with friends, one of them has a hard time speaking english and they kept rushing her to choose something. Not friendly. 👎
