Customer Reviews
Food was good and service was okay. I loved the sautéed shrimp which was covered in black pepper sauce and came with crispy spinach. Tuna tartare was good too. Tiger roll was great but took forever to come. I think our server forgot about our roll and we had to remind him when we were almost done with our dinner. For the price, you can find much better food and service elsewhere but it’s convenient if you are staying in Omni.
Convenient spot for Chinese food. I ordered the lamb chops and vegetable fried rice. The lamb chops were flavorful and well cooked, but the portion size was disappointing for the price. On the positive side, the hosts were amazing—very friendly and accommodating, which made the experience much better overall.
What an amazing experience. I went there with my husband and our son. The place is nice, very intimate, cozy. The decoration is on point. For appetizers we ordered the calamari and dumplings. The calamari were excellent. I got the ginger salad which was delicious and for main course we got chicken lo mein and general tsao-s chicken with lo mein. The food is great, the atmosphere is perfect and the best part of all was the service. Matt and José were our servers. They were amazing! Very professional, knowledgeable, attentive. They went above and beyond just to make sure we were having a great evening. They truly made our experience a wonderful one. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone and we will definitely go back.
I love Omni and I really hate leaving bad reviews, but the food here was disappointing. The Lo Mein was bland and lacked even basic seasoning or salt, very plain. The General Tso’s chicken also fell flat and didn’t taste fresh. I’ve honestly had much better meals from small local Chinese spots for a fraction of the price. If you’re going to charge premium prices, the food needs to be at least decent, and unfortunately this just wasn’t. The one bright spot: service was excellent, friendly and attentive. But overall, the food was mediocre and not worth the price. I wouldn’t recommend.
We tried this restaurant while staying at the Omni. Im not sure what Jose’s role was but we loved his friendly and humorous personality. He made the experience very enjoyable. We had the rainbow roll, spider roll, dumplings, sake, vegetable fried rice, and same. Everything was delicious and served fresh and prompt. The rainbow roll has escolar and it definitely is an acquired taste.
