Amazing experience at Zen Ramen & Sushi! The food was absolutely delicious and everything tasted very fresh. The sushi was well prepared and full of flavor, and the atmosphere was very comfortable and relaxing. The staff was also very friendly and attentive, making sure everything was perfect. To top it off, they even gave us complimentary ice cream at the end, which was such a nice and thoughtful surprise. Great service, great food, and a great overall experience. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place!
Absolutely never fails to impress me. The ramen flavors are fresh and perfectly umami. The prices are incredibly modest, especially given its location - central to a lot. I might get on a weekend train just to get lunch or dinner here without any other reason to hit the city. Oh - and the sushi is just as good. Date night under $100 with a full belly from all courses is unreal.
Walking around mid town looking for a decent ramen spot and found this gem. Reasonably priced, great selection of both sushi and ramen. They have the cheapest happy hour as well. A must try.
I really like coming to Zen for their happy hour specials (4-8pm every day, including weekends!). The prices are really good on a wide variety of food and drinks, but I primarily come to eat their yummy sushi rolls. Each roll on the happy hour menu is only $5.20 (with card, $5 if cash) and comes with 6 pieces. The fish always tastes really fresh, and some of my favourite highlights I've had are the salmon (and spicy salmon) and the yellowtail. The service is very friendly and prompt, and while the restaurant is always bustling, there is plenty of space (they have two floors), so I've also never had to wait to be seated here before. I actually tried the ramen here once before (maybe 8 years ago or so... just in passing...) so I don't have a strong memory of it haha but it seems to be quit
The ramen was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced — the broth had that deep, comforting taste with just the right amount of spice. The noodles were cooked beautifully, and the beef was tender and melt-in-your-mouth. The fresh greens on top added a nice brightness that made every bite satisfying.
