Zeneida Restaurant

I walked into Zeneida and it was bustling around 1:00 PM on a Wednesday. There were so many great dish options to choose from and they serve their food plate style so you choose your protein, rice and an additional side. I went with black bean rice, pork ribs, and mac salad! Everything was tasty and it was only $10 for a very large plate. Amazing food and great service!

My son works with someone who’s from the Dominican Republic and he suggested Zeneida’s for lunch, the portion was huge and he brought some home, I tried it and it was delicious. It was so delicious the we come here every Friday night for our usual rice, beans, meat, and salad. The prices are very reasonable and the food is always hot and fresh. I’ve never had Dominican food before, but I’m a huge fan…absolutely delicious. The staff is always friendly and accommodating…it’s cash only, but there’s an ATM inside. If you’re in the mood for a hot, delicious, home cooked meal that is reasonably priced, then I highly recommend Zeneida’s - also, there’s a lot of Dominican restaurants in PVD and we’ve tried a few and they’re very good, but Zeneida’s is the best !!!

I’m really not a person that gives reviews at least I feel is really worth it. Today I visited Zeneidas because as a Dominican was craving a good Sancocho. This the best Sancocho from the whole Broad St from up to down!! I can not wait to try other plates. I will highly recommend.

The food was superb! The prices were outnofnthus world (medium meal $7, pastelitos/empanadas were $1 each) I'm not sure how much English speaking staff there is, I went with a Spanish speaking friend. The eating area looked clean but during lunch rush it is crowded with people lined up to order. Definitely come a little before noon to avoid the rush.

No pictures this review because I totally demolished the good. Plates are healthy and reasonably priced for a home cooked flavor. Your totally getting what you pay for! There is ALWAYS a line, but this is good! Don’t fret, staff moves in unison and listen for the call “Next” because the entire space is open to order. Must try potato salad pigion peas and rice any meat ( I don’t eat pork) but I did eat those ribs I mean slow cooked, fall apart yummy 😋 Flan Mordiscando Lastly, check out is so fast and just clean! Seating inside if you like. You can order and they will bring the food to you. I will be back for sure.
