Zeppe's Italian Ice - Layton

Good ice cream, we like the gelatas and the shakes. Plus the dole whip is really good. We usually go on the weekend & the girl that works Saturday nights is awesome. One time they were out of vanilla ice cream but she took the time to explain the menu & made sure we all got something else that we’d like. Last time I finally asked for her name, so big shout out to LJ at Zeppes for being so great. Even when she’s working by herself she’s professional and she hustles to make sure everything’s good. We’ll definitely keep coming back!!

We came to Zeppe’s to get a unique and delicious treat. Not only was it delicious but the service was outstanding. We were greeted when we walked in with a smile and a welcome atmosphere. If you’re in Layton this is a must try Gelata stop!!!

Atmosphere was nice. Was a little cold inside. There seemed to be only 1 worker there which made things a little slow, but Zeppe’s is one of those places that hits the spot on a warm day. I love their flavors and it’s always a refreshing treat worth the price. They have a nice patio that you can eat your dessert on outside or seating inside if you prefer A/C.

This is the second zeppes that we went to and the first one was great but this one was not. Their treats are yummy. We were second in line on a Saturday. The people that ordered third fully got their stuff before us or the people who ordered before us. We ordered a concrete, a custard and a churro donut. There was absolutely no cinnamon or sugar on our donut. It felt like they were just doing orders by how easy was it to make rather than when they were ordered.

Need to hire more people. I've been waiting over 30 minutes and still not received my gelato. Terrible service!!! Fix your printer issue. This place wasted my time and got skipped. Love the custard but seriously need to fix the service.
