Whenever I go to South Sac and im craving hot pot. I would always come here. They have everything I like in a hotpot. Its more of self serve. You pick out all the veggies, meat and the style or flavor of broth. Its based on weight, it could be a little pricey. But I love eating hot pot, so ill grab a little bit of everything. They have a sauce bar where you can make for your dipping sauce. If you love Chinese hot pot as much as me, then you should definitely try it out.

This place is yummy! You pick a bowl full of ingredients, and then they cook it for you as a soup (think Ramen style) or a stir fry. You pay by weight, so you control how much you eat. It's quite delicious, and the staff are very nice!

The place is quite big with many seating area and quite bright. The outside is quite dark, need more lighting. The ingredients are fresh with many selection. The soup base kind of watery. The service is fast.

I've been going to this place every weekend cause of how DELICIOUS IT ISSS!! they have variety of toppings you can choose, and they looking all fresh! i just want a comfort, basic meal, so i dont really need those toppings. It has a such reasonable price, with 15 bucks you can literally get the whole meat, noodles, toppings,... The only thing that I hope they'll change next time is maybe have a better place to put chopsticks and spoons, because the way they just give you a few tissues with chopsticks and spoons on top feels kinda.. but i have no problem with it at all, though! Anyways, since it's getting colder, malatang is such a must and especially you don't wanna miss this place!

the food is very fresh and delicious. Enthusiastic staff, clean restaurant. I chose mushroom soup and my husband chose traditional soup, both flavors are very delicious. I will come back and support many times in the future
