Zin American Bistro

This was our first visit to Palm Springs, and our first meal was at Zin on Christmas Day. The owner was so warm and welcoming, as was our server, Becky. The presentation was artful and our meal was outstanding. The charming atmosphere made for a lovely and romantic evening. We loved it so much we returned for Sunday brunch. Jeremiah, the bartender waited on us. Such a friendly guy. We didn’t take pics, but the Crab Benedict and the Schnitzel were divine. This has to be one of the best restaurants in the city. We highly recommend it!

We had our first dining experience here upon arriving from Chicago. The service and food were exceptional. We had the pan seared salmon and the lobster pasta. The amount of food was large and the food was cooked perfectly! We enjoyed half bottles of wine so it was the right amount before continuing to walk along the strip to explore before walking back to our hotel. Sitting outside is also the best when you have come from snow and cold!

Zin American Bistro has been a fixture on Palm Canyon Drive for over twenty years. I had a nice dinner with friends to celebrate a birthday. They have a fixed price dinner menu consisting of three courses for thirty nine dollars (appetizer, entree and desert), and it’s a very good value. We all started with the delicious wedge salad and the blue cheese dressing - which was outstanding. The salmon entree was cooked perfectly, the mussels were great, the short ribs with mashed potatoes delicious, and the fried chicken was crispy and filling. We enjoyed the chocolate mousse and sorbet. Slow but attentive service ensured that a good time was had by all. A full bar, lengthy wine list, and specialty cocktails, covered all the bases. This is a reliably good restaurant serving very good food.

A beautiful place to eat. We enjoyed our waiter. He was very funny and he really sent us a wonderful vibe. The food was great.
