Zio Al's Pizza & Pasta (UTA)

This place has amazing pizza. I regularly order medium half buffalo chicken and half spinach Alfredo and I always get two meals out of it. I know a little something about great pizza 🍕 and I would put this up there with any of them. If you’ve not tried this place, pick up the phone and call them and pick it up and take it home. It’s centrally located in downtown Arlington. I believe they have other locations as well. Also ordered the Gyro pizza on a separate visit and it was great as well.

Pizza was delivered almost 2hrs after I ordered it so it was cold by the time I got it. I wasn’t so much bothered by that as much as the pizza has no type of evident tamper seal not one sticker! Anybody can open the box and do something to it. If you look at the picture some of the slices were slightly detached so I wasn’t taking any chances. I will never order from here again. I threw it away. Beware if you order here.

This was a delivery order after 2 am in the morning. The delivery driver arrived just as promised following the delivery route. l walked outside and was about to text him to make sure he didn't miss the address and he pulled up before l could finish typing. He got out of the car and you could feel warmth through the bag. lt was not as warm inside the packaging but it was a nice room temperature and TASTY. l ordered extra lemon pepper which was not necessary because the wings were seasoned perfectly and crispy as l ordered. So delicious dipping in that ranch dressing. l was hungry and l ordered a supreme pizza 🍕 that was prepared with all the extra fixings as I requested. Amazing experience from start to finish! The lady at the front (I think her name was Lupe ) provided outstanding service. She made me forget that I was just getting pizza (which recommend to get the gyro one)! She made me feel welcomed right away and handled everything smoothly and professionally. It’s always refreshing to receive such kind and efficient customer service. Highly recommend
