ZoZo's Pizza Mission Beach

I’ll give the pizza a 3.7, but the service was quick and super polite. Being from Connecticut where we are recognized for many of the best pizza joints in the country, I’m perhaps a bit more critical than other reviewers. It was just ok, I got the Mafioso (cheese, sauce, meatball, sausage, but held off on the pepperoni since I’m not a fan in general, makes it far too greasy). A small was over $30 and to me that’s just nuts for a small twelve-inch pizza. Located right in the heart of Mission Beach with the screams from the roller coaster just steps away, this is another one of those businesses that will forever turn huge volume, almost no matter the quality of the product. All that said, service was great!

Really good pizza crust is really thin, you'll need more than one slice to fill you up

Honestly this place is excellent. The food was very fresh and the slice I got was heavenly. Portions of regular size meatball sub and calzone are HUGE. Wings are excellent.

The pizza and the people were awesome! I’m from AZ but always on the lookout for good NY-style pizza when traveling. It was my birthday in March and we were just leaving Sea World, and I picked this place for my birthday meal. So very glad I did. They nailed it. When we’re at or near Mission Beach, this will be my place.

was visiting MB and had to come try Zozo’s pizza. Was one of the best pizzas i’ve had in san diego and will definitely be back!
