Zukku Sushi

Was hesitant based on past reviews but it’s not bad. The land/sea burrito and lemonade I got were decent. Likely wouldn’t get the same thing if I go back but it does have potential.

We enjoyed the fresh sushi, but our overall experience left us feeling a bit disappointed. We arrived shortly after 9 PM and placed our order with an Asian employee. As we only drink plain water and do not prefer sugary beverages, we were surprised to learn that complimentary water was not available. Instead, we were informed that we would need to pay $3 for a bottled water. When we inquired about this, we felt that the response from both the employee and a female staff member was somewhat unwelcoming, which made us feel uncomfortable. Unfortunately, due to this experience, we have decided not to return.

Zukku Sushi is hands down the best food option at The Hub now. The fish was fresh, and the rolls were packed with flavor. The sushi burritos—huge portions and stuffed with plenty of fish, are a great option. We ordered the Shrimp Volcano roll, the The Hub Roll, and the Godzilla Burrito. So happy to have a solid sushi spot close to home 🍣

BLAND AND EXPENSIVE. DISAPPOINTING. We ordered the Masterpiece Roll for $16 and the Godzilla Sushi burrito for $17 and a strawberry lemonade for $6. The food didn’t look like in the menu photos and had bland flavor. The burrito sushi is too big to dip into the soy sauce dish so I poured soy sauce on the sushi burrito and it leaked all over, making such a mess. All chairs were hard, wood chairs. No seat cushions. Not coming here again.

We loved our experience at Zukku! They have fresh, vibrant ingredients and unique options like sushi burritos. It’s located in The Hub in Allen; with a stage, covered outdoor seating and fans, it’s going to be a fun spot for summer hang outs!
