보양 Boyang K-food - 흑염소, 풍천장어 | 保养 - 黑山羊, 丰川鳗鱼

First time exploring deeper into Flushing beyond Main Street and this place was such a good find. The menu is mostly in Korean and the banchan came out generous, especially the fried egg and ham which was hot and super fragrant. The black mountain goat jeongol was the highlight. Huge portion, very comforting, and surprisingly clean tasting with no gamey smell. The meat was tender and the broth was rich but not heavy, perfect for a cold day. We also tried the grilled eel, which was soft with nice char and really well balanced, plus the dumplings and ginseng chicken soup were both solid.

Food was amazing. Especially their main soup tasted great. Didn't have any scent for goat meat, and also they provided ginger to eat with the meat which refreshed the end taste. Best part is Bokgum Bob

The owner was so kind and personally cooked everything herself. I tried the black goat soup, and it was amazing. There was no strong smell, and the broth tasted light, clean, and full of flavor. You can tell she truly cares about her food and her customers.

I came here with my mom and her friends. It was so good. The stew has a great texture. And the staffs are very friendly. I recommend you to come to this restaurant.

The soup was very flavorful (goat taste was not too strong) and the fried rice at the end was fantastic! I would go back!
